Astronomy, astrophotography and space images are wonderful to look at but require visual abilities that not everyone has.
#Accessibility is important, esp. when we share our images of the cosmos so that everyone has access to enjoy them.
I have put together a little checklist that can be used as guidelines when writing your alt-text for your images.
Many platforms now also allow you to set up your settings so that you can't actually publish the post until the alt-text is in - which serves as a good reminder.

Just had a moment where I remembered a moment from a film in which a cat on sailboat is flung into the sea because it was laying on the boom and the wind changed.

We talk about how white supremacy requires a visible and identifiable underclass. Part of it is so that there is always a designated sacrifice so you can get what you want.
