I was doing some work outside and these fellows did NOT like me hammering close to their walls.
I was careful to let them calm down between each nail but it was interesting to see the four "guardians" coming out and line up to protect the entrance to the nest.
Also I'm not sure who they are.
I'd say German Yellowjackets but they don't have quite the same patterns?
If anyone can identify them so that I know if they're invasive and act accordingly.

This paper states that asteroid-mass primordial black holes are zipping through the Solar System on decade timescales. If one were to pass Mars, it would cause a 1m shift in its orbit - a measurable effect given radio-ranging data from spacecraft in orbit.

Hmmm. We can measure the orbital parameters of the planets to a very high degree of accuracy in pulsar timing experiments, and test different Solar System ephemeris models (see link and second image below).
So, I wonder if we could test this theory given we now have a couple of decades of pulsar timing data? Gonna ask the team!

I was just thinking programs need to stop having UIs altogether and just define abstract controls that are presented by a unified UI layer that lets you interconnect the controls arbitrarily. AppleScript and COM both have some aspects of this, though neither replaces the UI; just exposes hooks for automation.
I think there has been at least one attempt to build something like you describe for CLI tools.

Downpours from low-pressure system Storm Boris led to some of the most serious flooding in almost three decades across Central and Eastern Europe.
Austria, Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic have all been experiencing extreme rainfall. A state of emergency has been declared by the Polish government, reported CNN.
According to Polish news agency PAP, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has secured $260 million in emergency funding for the country’s hardest hit regions.
The electricity and hot water were cut off for thousands in the Czech Republic when authorities closed heating plants due to the floods. Near the country’s border with Poland, 280,000 residents in Ostrava were left with no hot water, CNN Prima said.
