A) slapp is a valid strategy anywhere else than USA
And B) EU moved with right to repair for consumer electronics, but for an arguably more fundamental thing such as trains they couldn't give two bowel movements

Als Antwort auf Liz • • •@AngelicAura at least as far as copyright is concerned, the "right to repair" kind of exists beyond consumer electronics – in the sense that there was a verdict that established that a lawful user of software can reverse engineer it to fix a bug affecting it without asking the copyright holder's permission.
Newag argues (ridiculously) that Dragon Sector guys did not "fix" the software as they did not modify it on the controllers. They "only" reverse engineered it and re-set some NVRAM vars.

We can do this! FUCK companies that do grossly immoral things like this and then try to abuse the justice system to stop the truth from getting out, I hope they lose, and I hope the EU/EC gets on top of this after and slaps them with a huge fine for both the practices and the slapp court case.
