5 hours later... same problem, #Fedora41 and Kernel 6.12 broke #VirtualBox. Same solution, forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopi… of telling KVM to not hog the CPU's virtualisation hardware (or use modprobe -r kvm_intel).
However, networking stopped working too. My little Ruby on Rails server VM couldn't see the outside world, though I could SSH into it from the host OS. Turns out it's a change in the WiFi drivers (Intel AX201) that now ignores promiscuous mode. Gah! Have to run an Ethernet cable now.
I barely trust my government running governmental services, lending them my social web life sounds like impending doom.
I donʼt really like Mastodon as a platform either. Misskey and forks ftw.
Strong pass on that.

Trump won on anti-immigration but Elon Musk wants cheap IT labour from India. This angers MAGA celebrities like Laura Loomer, who starts calling out Elon Musk for being anti-MAGA in front of her 1.4 million followers. And then Elon Musk retaliates by removing her X subscribers and removing her blue checkmark, effectively deplatforming her on X.
The MAGA celebrities were useful tools, but the tech billionaires will take it from here.

Wie krank muss man eigentlich sein, solche Daten in der Cloud abzulegen? Auch müsste über die erste und 2. Ebene, die in die Datensammlung involviert war, ein 10-jähriges Berufsverbot in der Verbindung mit digitalen Tätigkeiten erteilt bekommen.

Heute morgen kurz vor Abfahrt im DB Navigator mein WTF-Moment:
App synchronisiert die Bahncard nicht!
Meine Bahncard verlängerte sich wenige Tage vor Weihnachten, Rechnung habe ich sogar schon bezahlt. Aber die App weigert sich, die neue Gültigkeit anzuzeigen. Kontrollansicht geht auch nicht. Manuell Aktualisierung anstoßen gibt's nicht. Neustart des Handys ändert nichts. Aber Reisedaten werden laufend aktualisiert.
Hatte gerade noch Zeit, zu Hause am Laptop in der Website einzuloggen und Ersatz-PDF der Bahncard auszudrucken. Dort ist die neue Gültigkeit korrekt.
Wenn der Ausdruck nicht möglich wäre, dürfte ich mich wohl auf eine Diskussion bei der Kontrolle einstellen. Oder ist das schon ein intern bekanntes Problem?
