Aufgrund von historischen Lücken, so erklärt uns eine Einblendung zu Beginn des Films, seien einige Teile der Geschichte fiktionalisiert worden. Wenn man diese Verlautbarung ernst nehmen würde, dann müssten dies enorme Lücken sein, dann hätte die ganze Kunstgeschichtsschreibung versagt. Denn es ist so offensichtlich, wie in „Münter & Kandinsky“ fiktionalisiert wird — auf der Ebene von Figurencharakterisierung, von Dramaturgie, von Dialogen, gar von Musikeinsatz.

„Wir müssen sie nicht immer verstehen, wir müssen sie auch nicht immer mögen. Aber sie soll uns immer berühren“, schreibt der Regisseur Marcus O. Rosenmüller in einer Regienotiz über die Protagonistin seines neuen Werks „Münter & Kandinsky“. Der Film erzählt die Geschichte zweier Menschen, die für die Kunst lebten und einander auf oft zerstörerische Weise liebten: Gabriele Münter (1877-1962) und Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944). Beide sind bedeutende Namen des Expressionismus – einer Stilrichtung, die Intensität und Individualität betont. Der von Rosenmüller beschriebene Ansatz, in der Figurenzeichnung Ambivalenz und Eigenart zuzulassen, ist daher ein stimmiger Weg, um sich diesen zwei Persönlichkeiten zu nähern.
In „Münter & Kandinsky“, inszeniert von Marcus O. Rosenmüller, geht es um die komplizierte Beziehung zweier Menschen – und um einen künstlerischen Aufbruch.
Es ist die bewegende Geschichte einer dramatischen Liebe und zugleich ein Dokument epochaler Kunst: Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts lebt und malt die gebürtige Berlinerin Gabriele Münter gemeinsam mit ihrer großen Liebe, dem Russen Wassily Kandinsky, im bayerischen Murnau am Staffelsee. Die Provinz wird zum Ausgangspunkt eines künstlerischen Aufbruchs in die Moderne, der Malerei und Kunstverständnis revolutioniert und die lockere Künstlerbewegung Der Blaue Reiter hervorbringt.

Für die Erstellung eines image setze ich #fsarchiver ein. Das kopiert nur die genutzten Blöcke und arbeitet im multi-thread Mode !
#borg ist von Vorteil, wenn man öfter nur einige Dateien löscht und die wieder zurück haben will. Das Backup lässt sich mounten (per fuse) und damit hat man Zugriff auf einzelne Dateien, ohne das gesamte Image auf eine Disk(oder Diskfile) zu schreiben !
Allerdings nicht multi-threading fähig.
#DD ist ein sehr gutes und altes Program, hat aber auch einige Risiken für Laien, denke ich.
Für komplette BackUps bzw. Spiegel einer HDD && SDD empfehle ich → #Clonezilla, #Rescuezilla oder #Timeshift.

The south pole is near the top of the image, right at the terminator between night & day, where there a some craters that never see sunlight & may even hold ice.

I am increasingly displeased with my new MSI laptop's power management and I'm not sure if it's a Windows or MSI problem:
- When I enable automatic sleep while plugged in, it will occasionally stay stuck sleeping while the fans are screeching. Only a force shutdown will let me use the computer again.
- When I disable automatic sleep while plugged, the screen will never shut down, even after I manually lock the screen.
- Since neither the keyboard nor the associated SteelSeries software account for it, I had to create a macro to navigate the Windows menu to the Sleep function. When used, the Windows menu is still open when awakened.
- When manually put to sleep this way, the laptop will eventually hibernate by itself, slowing down the awakening cycle.
My previous Asus laptop running Windows 10 didn't have any of these shortcomings which makes me wonder whether it's another Windows 11 gripe or poor compared engineering at MSI or both.
New woes since I wrote this:
- Dota 2 randomly crashes back to desktop, sometimes several times in the same evening. At other times it works flawlessly.
- The "FN" key used to illuminate the keys that can be used with it. Now it happens when I press the letter "T"??? Pretty distracting to have the keyboard quickly switch colors whenever I'm typing some text.
- It automatically restarted twice in a couple days, which made me lose work in a software I left open. Interestingly, on the first restart, it was able to rescue the file I was working on. Not on the second time. 😞
I've contacted the seller, I'm not hoping for much but it's the worst computer I've ever own, surely there's a way not to flush $2,500 down the drain?

I've complained before about my laptop frequently rebooting on its own, usually at night. I initially thought it was for Windows Updates, but the increased frequency has made me doubt this.
This time I caught it rebooting on its own during the day after a blue screen of death too fast for me to see the error code. I went to the Windows Event Log and I saw an error logged after the reboot but nothing specific at the time of the crash itself. It generated a dump I can't open by myself, which is a poor hint at what might be the problem.
The laptop seller offered me to repair the computer at their facility, but for that I first need to save my data on an external storage as I last transferred my data directly from my old computer to the new. I know I had some 2.5" drives stashed somewhere in my house so I ordered an enclosure.
However, I'm not able to find the drives anymore so I'll have to order an actual drive since I now have an empty enclosure, which will delay the troubleshooting process further.

I’ve not been able to do a complete reset on my buggy MSI yet, but it’s been helpfully encouraging me by suddenly dropping support for the whole Start Menu. It doesn’t open anymore at all. The Windows key has also lost several of its features like bringing up a native emoji picker in any text field (Win + .).
I found an online article suggesting 9 ways of fixing this known issue that pops in year in year out according to the Microsoft community forums, but none of the first 7 worked, and the last two consist in reinstalling Windows and resetting the computer to factory settings. 😰
