What can I say? A lot of you hate trucks!
My little survey showed that most of you do hate trucks. I can understand that. In many countries, trucks just do not fit in. They are too big.
On the other hand, they can be quite practical. For me the idea of an electric truck is quite compelling and I hope they will become popular in the US.

They are also less safe at high speeds, have a larger breaking distance. You can always rent a truck if you really need it.
The thing about trucks is the danger they pose to the people around, especially children.

Depending on your reasons for wanting a truck, you might be happier with something like a Canoo.

The Rivian is nice for sure. Not really familiar with Canoo.

Not sure. A lot of the time I have been driving small cars myself. My first car was an old VW Golf. I drove a Mitsubishi Colt for years. These are great city cars. Easy to park. Nimble. My first EV was an e-Golf.
Other times I like having bigger cars. I had a VW Caravelle. Just great to be able to drive a big group of people. For a while I had a Ford Transit van. With room for 15 people, it was great, but not practical as a daily driver.

They didn't have any cars left so they gave us a pickup truck. I will say that it was a much more pleasant drive than in any car I've ever driven.
