Guten Morgen zusammen - wie immer mit einem aktuellen Bild der Sonne via Satellit SDO.
Die ganze erdzugewandte Seite der Sonne in orangeroter Farbe. Die Oberfläche ist leicht körnig dargestellt und an einigen Stellen gelblich, als ob es da von innen glühen würde - wobei das leicht untertrieben ist. Tatsächlich herrschen auf der Oberfläche 6000 Grad Celsius und im Inneren sogar 15 Millionen Grad.

The #comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS this evening from the outskirts of Phoenix. Venus to the left offers a good guidepost. Will be similar Monday night, with the comet a bit higher in the sky.

Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS in the Arizona evening sky, again! This time diving into the Grand Canyon! I can't believe my luck. I planned this trip several months ago before the comet was even on my radar. Now I find myself comet chasing!
(Again, this is a quick edit as my travel laptop is pretty old and junkie with a low resolution monitor that is not color corrected.)
