Oktober bringt uns diese Zahl,

New release of Vivaldi on Android as well. Version 7.0. Big improvement here is the faster sync.

Vivaldi 7.0 on Android | Vivaldi Browser
Vivaldi 7.0 is full of updates to give you more control over your browsing, with Instant Sync across devices, a revamped start page with Top Sites, and the all-new Tab Stack Pane.Jon von Tetzchner (Vivaldi Technologies)
I recently switched over to Vivaldi on desktop (Microsoft Surface Pro 9) as well as Android (Pixel 9 Pro). I was on the fence about making Vivaldi my default browser for a few months mainly due to inconsistent sync performance. The latency in sync was making it very hard to use as I switch between Android and Desktop a lot. Glad to see that 7.0 has improved the sync drastically. The sync performance is noticeably better in 7.0. But, I will be honest, it still has some room for improvements to be on par with Brave (not comparing to big tech browsers like Chrome or Edge). Sometimes I have to close the browsers on the desktop and the phone to let the sync trigger. I also have placed vivaldi:sync-internals on the side panel and use "Trigger GetUpdates" to sync the browsers manually. It works perfectly. But, an option in the browser at the top near the sync cloud to manually sync would be awesome. One more feature that I miss from Brave is the global media control button near the address bar, which makes it easy to control media playing in one of the tabs.
I absolutely admire Vivaldi's vision and mission. I would love to join the millions to be a part of this journey to promote and respect user privacy without compromising on innovative features. So tired of the big tech. Awesome work @Vivaldi
New release of Vivaldi on iOS. Version 7.0. Plenty of improvements, but an important highlight is the much faster syncing feature and ability to customize the main menu, the kind of thing you would only expect in Vivaldi.

When I have to speak English to order, I either leave instantly or I just order something really cheap if I can't go elsewhere (bc some idiot wanted to go into a restaurant owned by foreigners).
Idc where the guy grew up or whatever. If I want to eat I don't want to think multiple times if what I say is correct. Nope.
@neoluddite ??
It happened to me more than once when I was in Zürich and almost always while being in Germany. There was and is one pub in Basel which is English only, but this ran since the 1980ies and specifically hired children of expats who migrated there above 16 to work there. Works for me. But every other restaurant, bar, club, even doctors and assistants? No. Fuck off and learn (Swiss-)German.
@neoluddite except that Switzerland is not part of NATO, but part of the global network of hubs, but you already know that.
The good part is that our forests and woods are emptier by the year. Biking trails are in fashion, but anywhere else: Blissfully quiet.

Replace the ideological tainted "the state" with "the system" or "their boss" and I agree.
The most annoying part is their lamenting, though. And they turn around and bash the French bc they "are lazy".

Otoh I feel that together with other things worldwide it shifts again. The children of migrants who came in the 70ies-00s are very pissed bc of that behavior and how expats behave. A Croatian son doesn't avoid a discussion like a Swiss would. He just explains this behavior is poisoning the staff, we don't pay you more hours, deal with it.
Funny times.
