Litauens Staatschef äußert Ansprüche auf Gebiet Kaliningrad – Reaktionen
Gitanas Nauseda, Litauens Staatschef, hat an der Umbenennung eines Museums im russischen Gebiet Kaliningrad Anstoß genommen. Umbenannt wurde in der Siedlung Tschístyje Prudý das Museum zum Gedenken an den Dichter Kristijonas Donelaitis – und zwar zum Literaturmuseum Tschístyje Prudý. Der Name des Klassikers litauischer Literatur ist zwar immer noch Teil der Ausstellungen im Kirchengebäude, in dem das Museum eingerichtet wurde, und die Museumsführer erzählen weiterhin von ihm, doch dadurch ließ sich Nauseda nicht stören. Auf X (früher Twitter) poltert er von unannehmbarer Geschichtsumschreibung und wirft pathetisch ein:

Anschließend schlägt Nauseda ganz langsam den Bogen zum Kern und Zweck seiner Botschaft:
"Obwohl die alten Einwohner von Kleinlitauen, heute Teil des sogenannten Gebiets Kaliningrad, längst weg sind, müssen die letzten Spuren litauischer Kultur dort geschützt werden.Ganz gleich wie sehr Russland es versucht:
Karaliaucius wird niemals Kaliningrad!"

Falls der aufmerksame Leser jetzt über das Toponym Karaliaucius gestolpert sein sollte: Es ist eine teilweise litauische Lehnübersetzung des Stadtnamen Königsberg ins Litauische, so wie auch Krolewiec eine teilweise Lehnübersetzung ins Polnische ist.
Beide sind historisch belegt, jedoch sowohl in Litauen als auch in Polen selbst längst aus dem Gebrauch gekommen. Im Klartext: Nach Polen, wo auf Autobahnschildern, die zuvor den Weg nach Kaliningrad wiesen, der Stadtname erst vor kurzem und aus eindeutig revisionistischen Beweggründen zu Krolewiec geändert wurde, erhebt also nun auch Litauen in Person seines Staatschefs Ansprüche auf das Gebiet und die Stadt. So sieht es auch das offizielle Moskau. Zuerst meldete sich das russische Parlament zu Wort – Sergei Perminow, Abgeordneter in dessen Oberkammer, dem Föderationsrat, lachte Nauseda aus:
"Unterhaltende Geschichte und Geographie aus dem Munde des Präsidenten Litauens vermag in der Epoche der Post-Ironie nur eine Reaktion hervorzurufen – ein mitleidiges Lächeln. Wie kann man hier umhin, sich an eine bekannte Fabel von Iwan Krylow zu erinnern:Der Mops! Klar, ist ein starker Mann,
Der bellt auch Elefanten an!"
Etwas später reagierten Dmitri Peskow und Maria Sacharowa. Der Kreml-Sprecher fasste kurz und trocken zusammen:
"Litauen stellt einen Staat dar, der gegenüber unserem Land feindlich gesinnt ist und der, wie sich herausstellt, unter anderem auch territoriale Ansprüche hat. Das rechtfertigt unsere tiefe Besorgnis – und rechtfertigt alle heutigen und künftigen Maßnahmen zur Gewährleistung der Sicherheit unseres Staates."
Russlands Außenamtssprecherin kommentierte ausführlicher:
"Und schon wieder drängt sich eine weitere Schießbudenfigur ans Mikrofon – mit feuchten historischen Tagträumen.Ich will nur daran erinnern, dank wem heute Litauens Hauptstadt Vilnius heißt und nicht Vilna beziehungsweise Kaunas: Dies beschloss Joseph Wissarionowitsch Stalin, der im Jahre 1939 den Vertrag über Übergabe der Stadt und des Gebiets Wilno an die Litauische Republik und über gegenseitige Hilfe zwischen der Sowjetunion und Litauen unterzeichnete.
Auch daran will ich erinnern, wem es zu verdanken ist, dass der größte litauische Hafen im Baltikum endgültig von Memel zu Klaipeda umbenannt wurde und endgültig litauisch wurde – Kämpfern der Roten Armee und ihrem selbstlosen Heldentum, Kämpfern, deren Denkmälern diese Geschichts-Umschreiberlinge heute demontieren.
All diese Geschenke der Sowjetunion an Litauen, die die dortigen Nachfahren der nicht zuende liquidierten 'Waldbrüder' Moskau immer noch nicht verzeihen können, darf Vilnius auch gern zurückgeben – wenn dem litauischen Präsidenten die Geschichte denn so unbequem ist."
Den zeitgenössischen litauischen Politikern empfahl Sacharowa, Geschichte zu lernen und sich um die Wahrung der Menschenrechte in ihrem Land zu kümmern. Nicht zuletzt sollten sie sich außerdem in ihre "im Krepieren begriffene 'Volks'-Wirtschaft reinhängen", so die Diplomatin. Sie hätten ja schon etwas zu tun, wenn sie sich so sehr um ihre Identität sorgen – von der bereits nach wenigen Jahrzehnten der 'Unabhängigkeit' fast nichts mehr übrig sei.
Iwan Krylows Fabel "Elefant und Mops", die der oben erwähnte Perminow zitierte, sei hier der Ursprungsstoff an die Seite gestellt, den der russische Dichter verarbeitete. Dies war Jean de La Fontaines "Die Ratte und der Elefant", hier nachzulesen und ebenfalls sehr lehrreich.

I had those "thoughts" because I'mm a little bit into coding because of experience with some phpBB boards and their setup. But common people have no clue I guess.
I had to start searching, testing and some how compiling the information found into a friendica bbCode human readable and easy to find and apply manner. and pinned hat you see in my notes.
So doing it for my own needs and having it already, taking the extra step to format and post it to the helpers forum was just some 5 to 15 minutes extra . Now it is most likely in a copy past format to:

Companies have coding specialists, and public relations specialists, and consumer support teams ..
We exist because coders create software for their needs and see the world from their eyes.
I wonder if common users like @Barbara Elers have the notion, capabilities and breath to go all those extra miles or if it's more likely that they have skills they could and would love to add to our community but the coders world, language and perception create obstacles that prevent them from joining and creating a ever increasing vibrant community and use of friendica.
Actually I consider that in the /help section of every friendica node there should be a complete list like shown above so this information is at hand when people create a text.
I guess the place would be in the /help/BBCode page at the bottom before /help/BBCode#Special.

The Wiki is pretty poorly updated FWIW, I cannot see a way to create bulleted lists with BBCode - I have to use Markdown all the time.

Not sure if it is the case to you as well (since we are on the same server). But I alleviated this problem by using Markdown instead of BB Code for unordered lists. Fortunately, when a post is edited, these are displayed as
And I saw this behavior since 2 versions ago already, I think, so it's great. But when typing
[ul]it still defaults to the[*]instead of[li][/li]for the list items.Actually, you know what? I think I'll see on GitHub if there is any issue about this, and I'll raise this myself if it's not. :D

*symbol instead of the BB Code.Now, when I type the string, it defaults normally. Look:

Even than, at some point this "issue" appeared, maybe when markdown was added, so from the publishing stand point there is a version this issue started.
This profile hasn't markdown enabled.
If the issue is because of markdown it's still a bug in my opinion.
Please correct me if I'm wrong but I guess we are also witnessing an error in the /help page discription, as it is
